COMPARE THE CONFIGURATION

Compare USB Wi-Fi board configurations.

Choose the frequency requirement and host data connection first, then match the board reference and revision. These are the supplied catalogue declarations, not measured throughput, a stock list or a tested host-compatibility matrix.

R8821CU_XSB V1.2 is a board reference retained from the earlier factory reply for LGX-L13BT SE. It is not included in the new board catalogue. Retaining the reference lets an existing buyer identify the requested assembly without treating the newer V1.1 catalogue row as its specification.

CONFIGURATION INPUTS

The board is more than its chipset.

Reported board references are available for specific finished models. Exact delivery contents, electrical connection and mechanical fit remain order-specific decisions.

Define the mechanical envelope.

Provide the board outline, hole positions, component height and connector clearance needed by the host. The drawing must match the actual board reference.

A version-matched drawing is still required; no product dimensions are inferred here.

Specify what is included.

Connector, leads, antenna, fixings, documentation and driver files need an explicit delivery definition.

View integration guide outline

Changes need a separate assessment.

Antenna, PCB, electrical and software changes are requests to evaluate. They are not blanket manufacturing commitments.

See the OEM request boundary ↗

SPECIFY THE BOARD

Use a board reference, then define its delivery.

Board supply has been reported for these adapter configurations. The references identify an enquiry starting point; they do not specify every connector, antenna, dimension or included item.

Keep the two identities separate, then agree what the board delivery includes. A matching model name does not define the connector, antenna or mechanical assembly.

CHOOSING & ORDERING

Questions to settle before choosing a USB Wi-Fi PCBA.

Which board should I compare for 2.4 GHz-only Wi-Fi?

Start with R8188EUS, WF8800FC V1.3 and the separate WF6_FC V1.3 catalogue entry. Their listed ratings are 150 Mbps, 286 Mbps and 286 Mbps respectively. The shared AIC8800FC platform of the latter two does not establish the same physical board. Confirm the WF6_FC revision conflict before treating its photograph as the specified assembly.

Which entries actually declare Bluetooth?

R8821CU_XSB V1.1 declares Bluetooth 4.2; 88M_XSB V6.2 and WF6 V6.3 declare Bluetooth 5.3; WF6_AX1800(ZTW) V1.1 declares Bluetooth 5.4. Other rows do not specify a Bluetooth version. Absence from the supplied row is not proof that the hardware has no Bluetooth; it means the feature cannot be promised from this source.

Does USB 3.0/2.0 define the connector or pinout?

No. It is the data-interface wording in the catalogue. Agree the physical delivery separately: USB connector, contact pads or leads; the relevant signal assignments; input power; and mechanical clearance. A blue insert, a photograph or a 3.3V/1.8V marking does not establish the complete electrical delivery.

Can I use the catalogue OS list as a compatibility guarantee?

Use it to identify a configuration to investigate, then request the matching driver package for the exact board, OS build and architecture. Linux, Android or Mac OS without a version and driver does not establish support for every host. Check Bluetooth software separately from Wi-Fi where both are required.

How do I request a board instead of a finished adapter?

Use “Enquire about this board” to carry the reference into the board enquiry. Specify the required assembly, target quantity, host, connector or pinout, power and mechanical constraints, antenna and driver needs. A board number alone does not define included items. For an enclosed external USB device, use the finished-adapter catalogue instead.
